Nanpu is an Arita-based ceramics manufacturer in Saga prefecture (Kyushu), where Japanese porcelain has been made for over 400 years. The teapot's built-in strainer holds the loose leaf back for a clean pour and easy re-steeping. The two cups carry a small surprise inside — one finished with a blue line around the rim, the other with a red line — so each drinker has their own. A charming set for a relaxed pot of tea.
