HAREKUTANI is produced by Toujudo Kiln (北野陶寿堂), a long-established Kutani kiln in Nomi City, Ishikawa prefecture. The brand brings Kutani porcelain into contemporary Japanese homes: brighter palette, more playful motifs, but still painted by hand in the traditional Kutani overglaze technique.

Donburi (丼) means "bowl" in Japanese and refers specifically to the larger size used for rice topped with savoury ingredients — katsudon, oyakodon, gyudon. Available in three designs: Berry, Cat and Flower.
