Kokuyo (コクヨ) is one of Japan's oldest and largest stationery makers, founded in Osaka in 1905. The Hakoake (ハコアケ — "open the box") is a 2-way portable cutting tool: press the handle and slide to switch one-handed between Package Opener Mode — a shallow ~3mm blade that opens cardboard boxes without slicing the contents — and Scissors Mode for PP bands, clothing tags and everyday cuts. No cap needed.
