Ramen Bowl 24.5cm - Aurora Design

A 24.5cm Japanese ceramic ramen bowl by Ichi Kiln — finished with an "aurora" glaze that shifts from warm brown at the rim, through sky blue, into a clean white centre with small dark speckles.

Ichi Kiln is a working ceramic kiln in Japan producing tableware in the Mino ware tradition. The aurora glaze is the kiln's signature: a layered glaze application that breaks differently across the bowl, so the colour transition is slightly different on every piece. Speckling around the blue band adds depth.

The 24.5cm wide form is the standard ramen-bowl size in Japan — wide enough for noodles, broth and toppings, with a gently flared rim and elevated foot for stable handling.
