Sailor's Kiwaguro (極黒 — "extreme black") fountain pen ink cartridges — a waterproof, fade-proof Japanese pigment ink in the deepest black Sailor produces.

Sailor Pen Company was founded in Hiroshima in 1911. The Kiwaguro line is the company's pigment-ink offering: rather than dye-based inks that fade over time, pigment inks suspend solid colour particles, which gives them properly archival qualities once dry. Kiwaguro is the densest of the three (Kiwaguro = blackest; Seiboku = blue-black; Souboku = darker blue-black).
