Sailor “Souboku” Fountain Pen Ink Cartridges | Dark Blue-Black Pigment Ink

Sailor's Souboku (蒼墨 — "deep blue ink") fountain pen cartridges — the darkest of Sailor's three pigment-ink shades, a rich dark blue-black with serious depth.

Sailor Pen Company was founded in Hiroshima in 1911. The Souboku sits at the dark end of Sailor's pigment-ink range — a step deeper than Seiboku, just shy of pure Kiwaguro black. The pigment formula is waterproof and fade-resistant once dry; the colour reads almost black in normal light but reveals its blue depth at the wettest part of each line.
